The blade is extremely sharp and has a bit of a pivot to it, so it makes peeling a curved or uneven surface very easy. I wash and dry them after each use, and they last for a long time.

I love these things. Peelers always go dull, but when you buy inexpensive (or cheap) ones they are just that, cheap. These guys however are both great value and great quality.

This is a fabulous product! It easily peels everything effortlessly from apples, ginger and potatoes to butternut squash which can be a real pain to peel. I personally have 2 have gotten one for every member of my family.
